Branch Membership

Most people will take Branch Membership if they are looking for face-to-face social interaction and are able to attend their local branch for meetings and visits away from home. Branch membership will include both an annual National subscription of £30 covering nationwide benefits and a local branch subscription of £7.50 intended to fund the additional local activities. There is a small supplement for those who wish to receive our newsletter by post.

Branch membership is available to retired NHS staff and their spouses/partners as well as those retirees who previously worked in NHS institutions.

Postal Membership

Postal members can enjoy the benefits of national membership if they are unable to access a local branch. The benefits of National subscription (cost £30) are described on the NHSRF membership page of the national website and include discounts on holidays, insurance and will-writing as well as retail opportunities. Benefits were reviewed in our branch newsletters 43 - 46. Postal members are welcome to attend occasional Croydon branch meetings for an entry fee of £2

Subscriptions for 2025 - 2026 will renew from April 1st 2025
